Tootsie-Wootsie Medley
Ray and I can hardly believe that we've been operating Notgrass History for 25 years, as of July 1, 2024. Way back when, we and our children used to introduce ourselves to homeschooling groups across Tennessee and some places outside of Tennessee by doing our musical walk-through programs: A Walk Through Tennessee History in Story and Song and A Walk Through American History in Story and Song. Our American history show included a duet by Ray and me that we called the Tootsie-Wootsie Medley, which included verses from love songs that were popular around what we once called "the turn of the century"—the turn of the century from 1900 to 1901, that is.
