National Assessment of Educational Progress Writing Assessment
The 4th edition features new and updated lessons related to election integrity, decisions of the Supreme Court, and international relations. The curriculum includes updated statistics and many new photographs, illustrations, and charts. The companion volume of readings, We Hold These Truths, includes some new selections.
For the 2016 edition, the updated text was printed in full color with a hardback binding. The Student Review Pack for this edition is available for purchase as a digital download.
The 2008 edition had a paperback binding. Author Ray Notgrass made some changes to the text, but the lesson content was essentially the same as the original 2006 edition. The Quiz and Exam Pack for this edition is available for purchase as a digital download.
The first edition of Exploring Government was published in 2006 with a plastic coil binding.
