Notgrass History curriculum is designed to help students prepare for whatever lies ahead, equipping them to become positive influences in their future homes, churches, workplaces, and communities.
Bryan Knowles and Walker Frizzell are two young men who used Exploring Government in high school. Listen to their experience and perspective on how this curriculum helped build a foundation for their future study and work.
“Exploring Government is more than just checking off a box or earning a grade. It is about shaping students into citizens of character and integrity to help form the next generation of Americans.” - Bryan Knowles
Here are thoughts from two students who used our curriculum:
This past year I studied your curriculum, Exploring World History. I want to thank you for writing this curriculum because it taught me why it is important to study history, which is to learn about God's plan for the world. The Bible Study lessons and questions helped me grow in my relationship with Christ, as I pondered over what it means to be a Christian and how I can spread the gospel. Your curriculum has had a vast impact on my faith and view of history, so once again, thank you.
Sincerely,
A Grateful Student (Lydia G.)
I am finishing up my freshman history course (we chose Exploring America) and I can say with certainty that this has been the first time I have ever enjoyed learning about history.
You said at the beginning of the course how it is our responsibility as Christians to learn about history, because those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Those words stuck with me throughout this whole year. It completely changed my attitude towards history. I now look forward to learning about the past . . .
To sum it all up, I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the wonderful curriculum. Your books helped me to have the best freshman year possible. Not only did my knowledge increase, but so did my faith. That is priceless to me.
Keep up the good work. I can't wait for sophomore year!

Here is feedback from two parents about their experience:
Comprehensive, faithful, interesting, serious, yet pleasantly readable. Notgrass has come alongside as we've taught our sons "the way it was", "the way it is", and the way "it was created to be". Notgrass has helped pave the way to making responsible and diligent future citizens. You know you're successful when kids are quoting and sharing with others what they've learned in your books. - Becky O.
Notgrass History has been a lifesaver for this busy family. Filled with beautiful pictures and easily adapted when teaching multiple ages. Not only does it cover many subjects in one, but every Notgrass curriculum we’ve used has been loved by my boys and has helped to prepare them for dual credit work in college because they learn to learn on their own. - Wynter C.
